HouseInHungary offers three distinct service levels tailored to your needs: the Basic Package, the Complete Package, and our Exclusive / Investment service (Property on Request).

1. Basic Package

Do you only require support with the legal purchase process, or have you already found the property you want to buy? If you are already familiar with the requirements for moving and settling in Hungary, we recommend the Basic Package.

As your dedicated buyer’s agent, we manage the bidding process, protect you from hidden costs, and ensure you know exactly what you are purchasing via thorough land registry checks. We facilitate the entire legal purchase journey, including all documentation, payments, and the official key handover.

Following your Initial Consultation (€50), you will receive a formal quote within 2 working days. This consultation fee is fully deductible from our final service fee upon a successful property purchase.

2. Complete Package

Is buying a home and emigrating to Hungary new territory for you? If you haven’t found a property yet and do not speak the Hungarian language, the Complete Package is the ideal choice.

We assist with regional orientation, source potential properties, and conduct multiple live video viewings on your behalf. As your buyer’s agent, we ensure you secure the best price while avoiding hidden pitfalls. Beyond the purchase, we manage your entire relocation and settlement for you and your family, including all mandatory Hungarian forms and residency documentation.

Following your Initial Consultation (€50), you will receive a bespoke, tailor-made quote within 2 working days. This fee is fully credited toward your final bill when you purchase your home with us.

3. Exclusive – Property on Request

Are you interested in premium real estate above €500,000 or looking to build a professional property investment portfolio in Hungary? You can schedule a bespoke video consultation with us. We will explain how our high-end consultancy works and how we secure exclusive assets for our private clients.

The €50 consultation fee for this strategy session is fully redeemable and will be deducted from our final service fee upon a successful property purchase or investment.

Initial Consultation

During our online video consultation, we map out your exact requirements: property type, preferred region, and budget. We take the time to answer all your specific questions. The fee for this professional session is €50, which will be subtracted from your final invoice once you successfully purchase a property through HouseInHungary.

Live Video Viewings

You can choose to view properties yourself or have us conduct them for you, saving you the journey to Hungary. We use a high-quality live video link to walk you through the home in real-time.

Building Inspection

We perform a thorough structural survey, including the foundation, walls, roof, insulation, plumbing, and electrics, to identify any hidden defects.

Bidding Process

We handle all communication with owners and selling agents. We negotiate the best possible price to ensure you never overpay.

Land Registry & Legal Checks

We request and verify official land registry data from the municipality. This ensures you understand the plot boundaries, land-use rights, and any permits required for future construction.

Legal Purchase Deed

We review and translate the purchase contract, ensuring there are no hidden clauses or unforeseen costs.

Removals & Logistics

We connect you with reliable, professional removal companies. Note: Actual moving costs are paid directly to the provider. Hungarian removal firms are typically significantly more cost-effective than international alternatives.

Contractors & Renovation

Finding a trustworthy contractor in Hungary can be a challenge. We help bridge this gap by connecting you with proven professionals.

Municipality Registration

All government paperwork is in Hungarian. We assist you in completing and submitting forms for your official residency and address card (lakcímkártya).

Utility Connections

We manage the transfer or new application for your internet, phone, gas, water, and electricity. In Hungary, this often requires physical forms and cannot be done online; you can simply authorise us to handle this for you.

Insurance & Healthcare

We manage the applications for your home insurance and health insurance for you and your family. We also provide guidance on popular private healthcare options, such as high-quality dental care.

Vehicle Registration

Whether you are buying a car in Hungary or importing your own, we handle the complex paperwork required for Hungarian license plates and registration.

Key Handover

Once the purchase is finalised, we ensure you receive all official documents and the keys to your new home. This typically occurs 2–4 weeks after the signing of the purchase deed and final payment.
